As an AMHP, i always find Dr Mustafa extremely approachable, professional and friendly. He is one of the doctors we use for assessments that will attempt to accommodate assessments as much as possible. During assessments, he is forthcoming in the development of colleagues by explaining his rationale and his choice of medications. Whilst during assessments, Dr Mustafa has a fantastic approach with patients in crisis and always asks questions in a calm soothing manner. I would like to use this opportunity to highlight areas that would improve his practice, but unfortunately, i have nothing to add. I totally respect him and proud to call him a colleague.

Met with Dr Faras for the very first time during my admission. He was very caring, empathetic and gave me plenty of time to discuss my distressing situations with him. He asked questions and helped me engage. He went away and did his research and also set in place regular visits to help me. A extremely positive Dr who is an asset to the hospital, his team and any patient he engages with.

Dr Feras Mustafa, while providing his input for a patient admitted to acute medicine department in NGH, helped the MDT in a professional way. He was approachable and supportive in doing that. For me, as acute medicine consultant, was an exciting experience to work with such a nice consultant psychiatrist .
